Triarylmethanes of formula (I), in which: m is 1-100; L1 and L2 represent C2-C4 alkylene; R3 represents hydrogen or optionally substituted C1-C4 alkyl; R4, R5, R6 and R7 represent hydrogen, optionally substituted C1-C4 alkyl or optionally substituted phenyl; Q represents an aryl group; and AnO represents an anion. Also disclosed are the use of these dyes for dyeing or printing polymer material. Los triarilmetanos de la formula (I): en donde m es de 1 a 100; L1 y L2 son cada uno alquileno de 2 a 4 átomos de carbono; R1 y R2 son cada uno hidrogeno, alquilo de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, alcoxi de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono o halogeno; R3 es hidrogeno o alquilo de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, substituidos o no substituidos; R4, R5, R6 y R7 son cada uno hidrogeno, alquilo de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono substituido o no substituido, o fenilo substituido o no substituido; Q es arilo; y An0 es el equivalente de un anion; que son utiles para colorear o imprimir material polimérico.
