A tyre handling apparatus includes a central axle configured to mount a wheel rim, a coupling part rotatably mounted on the central axle and configured to couple to a mounted wheel rim, such that rotation of the coupling part causes rotation of the wheel rim, a driving unit configured to rotate the coupling part, a mount/demount unit mounted on the central axle with a fixed angular position and comprising a mount/demount tool arranged to engage with the mounted wheel rim to fit or remove a tyre.
