Summary:The present invention relates to the use, for improving the mechanical strength of a hydraulic composition based on a cement composition comprising: - from 20 to 64% by weight of clinker, - from 5 to 60% by weight of activated clay, - from 0 to 35% by weight of limestone, - from 0 to 10% by weight of calcium sulfate, the proportions being relative to the dry weight of the cement composition, of from 0.2 to 5.0% by weight, relative to the dry weight of cement composition, preferably from 0.2 to 1.0% by weight, relative to the dry weight of cement composition, of at least one adjuvant comprising at least one alkali metal salt chosen from alkali metal formate, carbonate, chloride, hydroxide, oxalate, thiocyanate, silicate, sulfate or nitrate salts or a mixture thereof. La presente invención se refiere al uso, para mejorar la resistencia mecánica de una composición hidráulica en función de una composición de cemento que comprende: - de 20-64% por peso de cemento hidráulico, - de 5-60% por peso de arcilla activada, - de 0-35% por peso de piedra caliza, - de 0-10% por peso de sulfato de calcio, las proporciones son con relación al peso seco de la composición de cemento, de 0.2-5.0% por peso, con relación al peso seco de la composición de cemento, de preferencia, de 0.2-1.0% por peso, con relación al peso seco de la composición de cemento, de al menos un auxiliar que comprende al menos una sal de metal alcalino elegida a partir de formato de metal alcalino, sales de carbonato, cloruro, hidróxido, oxalato, tiocianato, silicato, sulfato o nitrato o una mezcla de las mismas.
