Abstract The present invention relates to a device and method for determining Curie temperature in ferromagnetic materials by magnetic induction, wherein the device comprises an electrical power source, an inverter circuit generating an output signal, and a resonator circuit receiving the output signal from the inverter circuit and generating electromagnetic waves for heating a ferromagnetic element. Also, it contains first measuring elements sensing the voltage and current of the output signal of the inverter circuit and an electronic phase anchor loop circuit which is responsible for controlling the switching frequency of the inverter circuit current and generating a rectangular signal to maintain the optimum resonant frequency of the resonator circuit. Further, it comprises an amplifier circuit that activates the inverter circuit and a frequency divider electronic circuit which is responsible for generating a more accessible rectangular signal for being sampled by a microcontroller. Moreove r, it composes of second measuring elements, usable to sense the current consumed by the inverter circuit and a microcontroller which serves to receive the frequency signal from the frequency divider electronic circuit and the current signal detected by the same. Finally, it includes a temperature meter that continuously senses the temperature of the ferromagnetic element and a computer that is responsible for processing the signals from both the microcontroller and the temperature meter. La presente invención se encuentra relacionada con un dispositivo y un método para determinar la temperatura de Curie en materiales ferromagnéticos empleando inducción magnética, en donde el dispositivo comprende una fuente de alimentación eléctrica; un circuito inversor que genera una señal de salida; un circuito resonador que recibe la señal de salida del circuito inversor y genera ondas electromagnéticas para calentar un elemento ferromagnético; primeros elementos de medición que sensan el voltaje y corriente de la señal de salida del circuito inversor; un circuito electrónico de lazo de anclaje de fase que se encarga de controlar la frecuencia de conmutación de la corriente del circuito inversor y generar una señal rectangular para mantener la frecuencia de resonancia óptima del circuito resonador; un circuito amplificador que activa al circuito inversor; un circuito electrónico divisor de frecuencia que se encarga de generar una señal rectangular de frecuencia más accesible para ser muestreada por un microcontrolador; segundos elementos de medición que se encargan de sensar la corriente consumida por el circuito inversor; un microcontrolador que encarga de recibir la señal de frecuencia proveniente del circuito electrónico divisor de frecuencias y la señal de corriente sensada por los segundos elementos de medición; un medidor de temperatura que sensa continuamente la temperatura del elemento ferromagnético; y, una computadora que se encarga de procesar las señales provenientes tanto del microcontrolador como del medidor de temperatura.
