Abstract The invention refers to agriculture, particularly to a method for selecting tomato genotypes resistant to higher temperatures.The method for selecting tomato genotypes resistant to higher temperatures includes collection of completely tripped flowers, separation of anthers and pollen, division of pollen into three parts, placement of each part into thermostats with three temperature backgrounds: 38, 45 and 48°C and treatment of pollen at each mentioned temperature during 3, 4 and 6 hours, sowing of the treated pollen on a nutrient medium, containing, in mass %: sucrose 15, boric acid 0.0006 and distilled water the rest, and cultivation thereof during three hours at a temperature 0f 27°C, determination of the pollen viability according to the ratio between the number of germinated pollen grains and the total number of analyzed grains, expressed in percents, with subsequent processing of the obtained data by the method of three-factor dispersing analysis with determination of the indexes of overall adaptive capacity according to the pollen viability average values on all temperature backgrounds, of specific adaptive capacity according to the temperature long-term action and of specific adaptive capacity according to the temperature high level action, being selected the genotypes having determined higher indexes. Invenţia se referă la agricultură, în particular la o metodă de selectare a genotipurilor de tomate rezistente la temperaturi înalte.Metoda de selectare a genotipurilor de tomate rezistente la temperaturi înalte include colectarea florilor complet deschise, separarea anterelor şi polenului, divizarea polenului în trei părţi, amplasarea fiecărei părţi în termostate cu trei fonduri de temperatură: 38, 45 şi 48°C şi tratarea polenului la fiecare temperatură menţionată timp de 3, 4 şi 6 ore, semănarea polenului tratat pe mediul nutritiv, care conţine, în % mas.: zaharoză 15, acid boric 0,006 şi apă distilată restul, şi cultivarea lui timp de trei ore la temperatura de 27°C, determinarea viabilităţii polenului după raportul dintre numărul de grăuncioare de polen germinate şi numărul total de grăuncioare analizate, exprimate în procente, cu prelucrarea ulterioară a datelor obţinute prin metoda de analiză dispersională trifactorială cu determinarea indicilor capacităţii de adaptibilitate integrală după valorile medii ale viabilităţii polenului pe toate fondurile de temperatură, capacităţii de adaptibilitate specifică după acţiunea de lungă durată a temperaturii şi capacităţii de adaptibilitate specifică după acţiunea nivelului înalt al temperaturilor, fiind selectate genotipurile care au indicii determinaţi mai înalţi.
