Summary:The invention discloses a system and method for simulating fire of a cable trench and measuring the stability of a cover plate structure. The system comprises a cable trench body, a cover plate bracket, a support frame, a cable carrier, a combustion apparatus, water spray apparatuses and a blowing apparatus. A dimension of an inner cavity of the cable trench body is adjustable, and the cover plate bracket is used for supporting the cover plate of the cable trench and installing an aerosol fire extinguisher. The cable carrier comprises cable cleats for clamping cables with different diameters, and a separation distance between every two cable cleats is adjustable. The combustion apparatus is used for igniting cables on the cable carrier. Each water spray apparatuses is used for adjusting humidity of the cable trench body. The blowing apparatus is used for blowing fresh air into the cable trench body.
