The present invention relates to a method for controlling a sterilizing apparatus, wherein the sterilizing apparatus comprises: a first far-ultraviolet ray module installed on the upper surface of a plurality of planes forming a certain space and irradiating far-ultraviolet rays toward a lower surface of the plurality of planes; a plurality of second far-ultraviolet ray modules that irradiate far-ultraviolet rays toward a side of the plurality of planes; a sensor unit that collects information about the certain space; and a control unit for controlling the first and second far-ultraviolet ray modules. The method for controlling the sterilizing apparatus comprises the steps of: setting a sterilization time of the first and second far-ultraviolet ray modules based on information detected by the sensor unit; operating the first and second far-ultraviolet ray modules at the set sterilization time; and determining whether the operation time of the first and second far-ultraviolet ray modules satisfies a set sterilization time and stopping the operation. According to the present invention, a place forming the certain space can be sterilized. 본 발명에 따른 살균 장치의 제어 방법은, 일정 공간을 형성하는 다수의 평면 중 상면에 설치되며, 상기 다수의 평면 중 저면을 향해 원 자외선을 조사하는 제1원 자외선 모듈과, 상기 다수의 평면 중 측면을 향해 원 자외선을 조사하는 다수의 제2원 자외선 모듈과, 상기 일정 공간에 대한 정보를 수집하는 센서부와, 상기 제1 및 상기 제2원 자외선 모듈을 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는 살균 장치의 제어 방법에 있어서, 상기 센서부로 감지되는 정보에 기초하여 상기 제1 및 제2원 자외선 모듈의 살균 시간을 설정하는 것; 상기 설정된 살균 시간으로 상기 제1 및 제2원 자외선 모듈을 작동하는 것; 상기 제1 및 제2원 자외선 모듈의 작동 시간이 설정된 살균 시간을 충족하는지 판단하여 작동을 중지하는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
