Disclosed are an electronic device for providing a chatting room service and an operation method therefor, which may enable a user to use a service on a display device and input a message relatively easily by using a mobile device of the user. The disclosed electronic device according to embodiments of the present disclosure comprises: a communication interface; a memory which stores one or more instructions; and a processor which executes the one or more instructions stored in the memory.
