Abstract Disclosed is a terminal radio capability signaling technology in a communication system, which may minimize information exchanged among a terminal, a base station, and an access and mobility management function (AMF) node. An operation method performed in the AMF node of a communication system comprises: a step of receiving first terminal radio capability signaling information for a terminal from a UE capability management function (UCMF) node; a step of receiving a service request signal including second terminal radio capability signaling information from the terminal; and a step of transmitting a service permission message including the first terminal radio capability information to a base station when the first terminal radio capability information and the second terminal radio capability information are different. 통신 시스템에서 단말 무선 능력 시그널링 기술이 개시된다. 통신 시스템의 AMF(access and mobility management function) 노드에서 수행되는 동작 방법으로서, UCMF(UE capability management function) 노드로부터 단말에 대한 제1 단말 무선 능력 정보를 수신하는 단계; 상기 단말로부터 제2 단말 무선 능력 정보를 포함하는 서비스 요청 신호를 수신하는 단계; 및 상기 제1 단말 무선 능력 정보와 상기 제2 단말 무선 능력 정보가 상이한 경우에 상기 제1 단말 무선 능력 정보를 포함하는 서비스 허용 메시지를 기지국으로 전송하는 단계를 포함하는, AMF 노드에서 수행되는 동작 방법이 제공될 수 있다.
