The present invention relates to an image display device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the image display device comprises: a display; an image reception unit; a signal processing device outputting an image signal to the display; and an interface unit exchanging data with a mobile terminal or a server. The signal processing device controls so that a plurality of broadcast channel thumbnails can be displayed. When one of a plurality of broadcast channel thumbnails is selected, the signal processing device controls so that a broadcast image corresponding to the selected thumbnail can be received from an image reception unit, chat dialog content corresponding to the broadcast image can be received from the server through the interface unit by accessing the server, the broadcast image and the chat dialog content can be synchronized, the chat dialog content can be overlaid on the broadcast image, and, if the dialog content is input based on a signal from the remote control device, the input dialog content can be displayed.
