In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a refrigerator includes: a cabinet forming a storage space, and having a main control unit; a main door coupled to the cabinet to be rotatable by a main door hinge to open and close the storage space, and having an opening; a main hinge cover covering the main door hinge; a sub-door coupled to the main door to be rotatable by a sub-door hinge to open and close the opening; and a sub-hinge cover covering the sub-door hinge The sub-door includes a door frame having an opening, a panel assembly covering the opening and having a light-permeable front panel, and a heater coming in contact with the panel assembly. A wire connecting the heater with the main control unit is connected to the main control unit via the sub-door hinge cover and the main door hinge cover.
