Abstract Disclosed are a fireproof flame-retardant block structure for preventing the spread of fire in a building and a building by the same. According to the present invention, the fireproof flame-retardant block structure for preventing the spread of fire in a building comprises: an attachment unit attached to the building; a spread delay unit delaying the movement of flame or heat by lengthening the path extended from a lower side of the attachment and reaching the end unit; and a horizontal extension unit extended from an upper side of the attachment unit and reaching an end unit. The attachment unit, the spread delay unit, and the horizontal extension unit have a nonflammable mortar spread or a nonflammable inorganic board attached to one or more surfaces of a fireproof insulator. The total extended length of the spread delay unit, which is L, and the straight length of the horizontal extension unit, which is L', and the length from the structure to an end of the finish material, which is T, satisfy L>=L`, T+50mm<=L`<=T+400mm. The fireproof insulator includes one or more selected among expanded polystyrene-based insulator, phenolic foam-based insulator, urethane-based insulator, vacuum insulator, or inorganic fiber-based insulator. According to the present invention, when fire spreads from indoors to outdoors through a part weak against fire such as an opening in case of a fire, flame can be prevented from vertically spreading in a building by moving to insulators inside finish materials, and can be suppressed from directly coming in contact with an outer surface as much as possible, thereby being effectively delayed from spreading. 본 발명은 건축물의 화재확산방지를 위한 내화방염블록 구조 및 이에 의한 건축물을 개시한다. 본 발명에 따르는 건축물의 화재확산방지를 위한 내화방염블록 구조 및 이에 의한 건축물은 건축물과 부착되는 부착부와, 상기 부착부의 하부에서 연장되어 끝단부에 이르는 경로를 길게 하여 화염이나 열의 이동을 지연시키는 확산지연부 및 상기 부착부의 상부에서 연장되어 끝단부에 이르는 수평연장부를 포함하고, 상기 부착부, 확산지연부, 수평연장부는 내화단열재의 적어도 일면에 불연몰탈의 도포나 불연 무기계보드가 부착되며, 상기 확산지연부의 전체연장길이 L, 수평연장부의 직선길이 L`, 구조체로부터 마감재료 끝단까지의 길이 T는 L≥L`, T+50mm≤L`≤T+400mm를 만족하고, 상기 내화단열재는 발포폴리스티렌계 단열재, 페놀폼계 단열재, 우레탄계 단열재, 진공단열재 또는 무기섬유계 단열재 중 적어도 하나 이상이 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는데 이에 의하면, 화재시 개구부 등 화재취약부위를 통해 화재가 실내에서 실외로 확산되는 경우에 화염이나 불꽃이 마감재 내부의 단열재에 옮겨붙어 건물의 수직방향으로 확산되는 것을 차단할 뿐만 아니라 외부 표면에 직접 닿는 것 또한 최대한 억제함으로써 화재의 확산을 효과적으로 지연시키는 효과를 발휘할 수 있다.
