Abstract Disclosed are a magnetic stimulation system and a control method thereof. The magnetic stimulation system of the present invention comprises: a temperature sensing unit measuring the temperature of a control unit and a coil unit of the magnetic stimulation system; a coil unit consisting of a plurality of independently implemented coils and receiving power to generate a magnetic field in each of the plurality of coils; and a control unit setting a different target temperature range for each of the plurality of coils, applying the power in response to the target temperature range, and controlling the control unit and the coil unit by using different control algorithms, wherein the control unit controls the temperature of the control unit according to a first control algorithm which makes control such that the temperature of the control unit is no greater than a threshold value when exceeding the threshold value and controls the temperature of the coil unit according to a second control algorithm which makes controls such that the temperature of the coil unit is included in the target temperature range when the temperature of each of the plurality of coils deviates from the target temperature range.
