Abstract | The present invention relates to an integrated molecular diagnostic device using a heat-driven fluid control valve and a molecular diagnostic method thereof. The integrated molecular diagnostic device comprises: a cartridge into which a sampling tool for collecting a sample is inserted, and which receives heat at a first temperature and extracts nucleic acids from the collected sample to generate a sample solution, receives heat at a second temperature higher than the first temperature and flows the sample solution into a fluid channel to transfer the sample solution to a reaction chamber, and receives heat at a third temperature to perform a nucleic acid amplification reaction; and a diagnostic module body which is detachably coupled to the cartridge to supply the heat at the first to third temperatures to the cartridge and detects the nucleic acid amplification reaction to diagnose presence or absence of a diagnostic target. Accordingly, a process from pretreatment of the collected sample to molecular diagnosis can be performed with one device without user intervention.
