Abstract | A smart parking control apparatus disclosed by the present invention comprises: a processor; and a memory storing one or more instructions executed by the processor. The one or more instructions comprise: an instruction for identifying location information of roadside unit devices; an instruction for determining a relative distance of the roadside unit devices based on the location information of the roadside unit devices, and configuring a parking control map based on the location information and relative distance of the roadside unit devices; an instruction for receiving a parking control request from an on-board unit device installed on a vehicle; and an instruction for providing parking control information in response to the parking control request in order to move the vehicle to an optimum parking spot based on the parking control map. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a smart parking control method and apparatus capable of being used in a coverage hole in the global positioning system.
