Abstract | The present invention relates to a production of a low-lactose milk designed to contain galactosyllactose in milk by synthesizing galactosyllactose, which is a type of galactooligosaccharide, from lactose contained in milk without any artificial addition process by using a β-galactosidase specific enzyme. Therefore, the present invention is capable of facilitating digestion-absorption of a consumer who consumes milk.
