Abstract | A display device in one embodiment includes: a base layer; a circuit layer including a plurality of transistors spaced apart from each other on a base layer, a plurality of insulating layers arranged on the base layer, and a plurality of contact electrodes electrically connected to the transistors; a first light emitting unit disposed on the circuit layer; a second light emitting unit; and a lower protrusion part disposed between at least one of the transistors and a second lower electrode. At least one of the contact electrodes has a structure that follows the shape of the lower protrusion part in the circuit layer and extends to the upper surface of the lower protrusion part, thereby simplifying an etching process of an encapsulation layer.
