Provided is a vessel which is able to definitely elevate and lower a large and heavy-weighted wind power propulsion apparatus in a stable status or in a shaking vessel. The present invention relates to a vessel having one or more wind power propulsion apparatuses (25), which comprise: a wind power propulsion generation unit (27) receiving wind to generate propulsion and vertically extended on a deck when in use, and stored in a storage (29) installed under the deck when not in use; and an elevation apparatus (47) vertically elevating/lowering the wind power propulsion generation unit (27). The wind power propulsion apparatuses (25) have an apparatus main body (45) on which the wind power propulsion generation unit (27) is fixed. The elevation apparatus (47) has a pair of elevation instruments (59, 59') which elevate/lower both end parts of the apparatus main body (45) located in a widthwise direction at right angles to the progressing direction while synchronizing the both end parts. (해결 수단) 본 발명은 바람을 받아서 추진력을 발생하고, 사용 시에는 갑판 상에 있어서 수직 방향으로 연장되고, 미사용 시에는 갑판 하에 설치된 격납고(29)에 격납되는 풍력 추진력 발생부(27)와, 풍력 추진력 발생부(27)를 상하 방향으로 승강시키는 승강 장치(47)를 갖는 1개 이상의 풍력 추진 장치(25)를 구비한 선박을 대상으로 하고 있다. 풍력 추진 장치(25)는 풍력 추진력 발생부(27)가 고정된 장치 본체(45)를 구비하고, 승강 장치(47)는 진행 방향과 직교하는 폭 방향에 위치하는 장치 본체(45)의 양 단부를 동기한 상태에서 함께 승강시키는 1쌍의 승강 기구(59, 59')를 구비하고 있다.
