A method of manufacturing a display device according to an embodiment may comprise the steps of providing a first display device assembly, removing a first protective layer, removing a first window, providing a second window, and providing a second protective layer. The first display device assembly may include a display module, a first window, a first window adhesive layer, and a first protective layer which are sequentially stacked. A second window may be provided on the display module from which the first window is removed. The step of removing the first window may be performed by providing an acid solution to the first display device assembly.
