Abstract The present invention provides a voltage detector (10) which is able to have a definite and rapid detection responsiveness when an instantaneous voltage falls, comprising: a divided voltage circuit (110) dividing a battery voltage (Vs) inputted by interposing a detection terminal (T2) by divided voltage resistances (Ra, Rb), and outputting a divided voltage (Vd); a comparison circuit (120) outputting a voltage corresponding to a result of comparison of the divided voltage (Vd) and a threshold value voltage (Vth) by a transistor (M1) having the threshold value voltage (Vth) for determining if the battery voltage (Vs) is a low voltage; an output transistor (M5) outputting a reset signal in accordance with an output voltage of the comparison circuit (120); and an instantaneous voltage drop detection circuit (130) outputting a reset signal from the output transistor (M5) based on a high-frequency substance of the battery voltage (Vs) detected from the detection terminal (T2) before the divided voltage (Vd), which is obtained as the instantaneous voltage falls, is inputted into the comparison circuit (120) when the battery voltage (Vs) has made the instantaneous voltage fall.
