Abstract | Disclosed are an electronic apparatus and a control method thereof for projecting an image, which can improve the quality of projection images. According to the present invention, the control method of an electronic apparatus comprises: a step of projecting a test image by a light emission unit projecting an image; a step of transmitting light emission information on the test image to a camera apparatus while projecting the test image; a step of receiving a plurality of photographing images resulting from photographing an area onto which the test image is projected at a frame rate synchronized with a refresh ratio of projecting the test image from the camera apparatus based on the light emission information; a step of acquiring calibration information of a projection image which the electronic apparatus projects onto the area based on the plurality of photographing images; and a step of adjusting the projection image in accordance with the calibration information to project the projection image.
