Abstract The present invention provides a device for receiving a global positioning system (GPS) signal for a wide area surveillance system. The device for receiving a GPS signal for a wide area surveillance system according to the present invention comprises: a GPS receiving unit for receiving a GPS signal; and a control unit for reading a GPS signal received from the GPS receiving unit and a pulse signal of an inner oscillator to obtain a time error, if the alteration of time information is detected based on the cumulative control amount of the inner oscillator, which has been accumulated in the past, and the time information is determined to be normal, controlling the inner oscillator to follow a GPS signal depending on the time error and accumulating the same in the cumulative control amount, and if the time information is determined to have been altered, controlling the inner oscillator so that the accumulated cumulative control amount of the inner oscillator can converge into a set value, to restore the time information. The present invention prevents erroneous power grid protection and control commands due to the alteration of time information. 본 발명은 광역 감시 시스템용 위성항법신호 수신장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 광역 감시 시스템용 위성항법신호 수신 장치는, 위성항법신호를 수신하는 GPS 수신부; 및 GPS 수신부로부터 수신한 위성항법신호와 내부 발진기의 펄스 신호를 읽어 시각오차를 구하고, 과거 누적된 내부 발진기의 누적 제어량에 기초하여 시각정보의 위변조를 탐지한 후 시각정보가 정상상태로 판정된 경우, 시각오차에 따라 내부 발진기가 위성항법신호를 추종하도록 내부 발진기를 제어하고 누적 제어량에 누적하고, 시각정보가 위변조 탐지로 판정된 경우, 누적된 내부 발진기의 누적 제어량이 설정값에 수렴하도록 내부 발진기를 제어하여 시각정보를 회복시키는 제어부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
