A display device includes a display panel, a driving control part, a gate driving part, an emission driving part and a data driving part. The display panel includes a pixel including a driving switching element and a light emitting element. The driving control part determines a driving frequency varying depending on input image data or a driving mode. The gate driving part outputs a gate signal and a bias control signal to the pixel. The emission driving part outputs an emission signal. The data driving part outputs a data voltage to the pixel. In a lighting frame, the bias control signal for applying a bias voltage to the driving switching element has a first width, and, in a holding frame, the bias control signal has a second width different from the first width.
