The aging of society is accelerating, and the demands and needs for improving the quality of life of the elderly population are increasing significantly. There are various diseases that reduce the quality of life of the elderly population, but it starts from the fact that a very common daily life becomes difficult as it becomes difficult to walk or climb up and down stairs due to the deterioration of joints and muscles caused by aging. The present invention is to present a structure and a driving method of an active walking aid that helps not only walking on flat ground, uphill or downhill, but also climbing and descending stairs for users who are leg-related disabled or patients, including the elderly so as to provide the users with convenience in daily life. The active walking aid provides the user with benefits different from existing walking aids because the active walking aid actively assists walking by providing the user with force necessary for actual walking, rather than just supporting simple loads like existing crutches or canes. In addition, by adopting various sensors, the walking aid recognizes the surrounding environment and detects the user's motion to actively assist walking, so that the user can walk more conveniently than before without any manipulation. The active walking aid comprises: an exterior of a main body; a drive motor; a reduction gear; a ground contact unit; and a control circuit unit controlling the driving motor. 사회 고령화가 가속화되며, 고령 인구의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 수요와 요구가 크게 늘고 있다. 고령 인구의 삶의 질을 저하 시키는 요인은 다양한 질병도 있지만, 고령화에 따른 관절과 근육 저하로 일반 보행 또는 계단을 오르고 내리는 것이 어렵게 되어 매우 보편적인 일상 생활이 어려워지는 것에서 시작이 된다. 본 발명은 이러한 고령자를 포함한 다리 관련 장애인 또는 환자를 사용자로 하여 평지 보행, 오르막 또는 내리막 보행뿐 아니라 계단 오르기와 내려가기 등에 도움이 되는 능동적인 보행 보조 장치의 구조와 구동 방법을 제시하여 사용자의 일상생활에 편익을 제공하고자 한다. 이 능동 보행 보조 기구는 기존 목발이나 지팡이와 같이 단순 하중 지지 만에 그치지 않고, 사용자에게 실질 보행에 필요한 힘을 제공하여 보행을 능동적으로 보조하기 때문에 사용자에게 기존의 보행 보조기와 다른 사용 편익을 제공할 수 있다. 또한, 다양한 센서를 채용하여 보행보조기가 주변 환경을 인식하고 사용자의 움직임을 감지하여 능동적으로 보행 보조를 함으로서 사용자가 아무런 조작 없이 기존보다 편리한 보행을 할 수 있다.
