Abstract | The present invention relates to a remote control module for a refrigerated container and a control method of the remote control module. The remote control module according to the present invention is a refrigerated remote control module adhering to a refrigerated container and communicating with a remote control system, including: a collection unit for collecting state information related to an internal environment and an operation state of the refrigerated container; a storage unit for storing the state information; a communication unit for communicating with the remote control system through one of a ship internal communication apparatus and a mobile communication network; and a control unit for controlling the communication unit to attempt access to the mobile communication network when communication with the remote control system is impossible through the ship internal communication apparatus, wherein the control unit may control the storage unit to store the state information when communication with the ship internal communication apparatus and the remote control system is impossible. The remote control module transmits the state information of the refrigerated container to the remote control system in an optimized communication method.
