Abstract The present invention is a system for providing rainfall probability information using meteorological image information provided by the Korea Meteorological Administration based on machine learning and a method using the same. The system of the present invention can predict localized heavy rain or heavy snow based on a minimum radius (1 km) by image analysis of image information with machine learning by using terminals such as mobile communication wireless networks, IoT, and navigation devices attached to vehicles such as automobiles while using images provided by the Korea Meteorological Administration (radar, satellite) at the same time. The system for providing rainfall probability information using meteorological image information provided by the Korea Meteorological Administration based on machine learning includes a radio wave information collection module, a rainfall information calculation server, and an artificial intelligence calculation server. 본 발명은, 머신러닝을 기반으로 하는 기상청 제공 기상영상정보를 활용한 강우확률정보 제공 시스템 및 이를 이용한 방법으로서, 기상청 제공 영상(레이더, 인공위성)을 이용함과 동시에, 이동통신 무선 네트워크, IoT, 자동차 등 운송수단 부착 네비게이션 등의 단말기를 이용함으로써, 영상정보를 머신러닝으로 이미지 분석하여 최소반경(1km) 기준 국지성 폭우 내지 폭설을 예보할 수 있는 시스템이다.
