Summary: | The present invention relates to a lithium-free secondary battery that suppresses non-uniform growth of a lithium metal layer from a negative electrode during charging and discharging, and exhibits improved performance such as safety and capacity retention rates. The lithium-free secondary battery includes the negative electrode, an electrolyte, a separator and a positive electrode, wherein the negative electrode can include: a negative electrode plate comprising a negative electrode current collector; and an insulating layer formed in a predetermined width along the outermost side of the negative electrode current collector to come in contact with the negative electrode current collector.
본 발명은 충방전시 음극으로부터 리튬 금속층이 불균일하게 성장함이 억제되고, 보다 향상된 안전성과 용량 유지율 등의 성능을 나타내는 리튬프리 이차전지에 관한 것이다. 상기 리튬프리 이차전지는 음극, 전해질, 분리막 및 양극을 포함하고, 상기 음극은 음극 집전체로 이루어진 음극 플레이트; 및 상기 음극 집전체에 접촉하도록, 상기 음극 집전체의 최외곽 변을 따라 소정 폭으로 형성된 절연층을 포함할 수 있다. |
