Abstract Disclosed are methods for performing power management of a multi-interface transponder (MIT) device such as a location tag device. The MIT device can be switched among a variety of power states based on detected events for example, which are detecting movement of the MIT device, receiving a wake-up signal, receiving an indication of a switch in a transport mode, and/or detecting that the MIT device can be lost based on a lack of contact with another device, for example, for more than a threshold period of time. 예컨대 위치 태그 디바이스와 같은 멀티 인터페이스 트랜스폰더(MIT) 디바이스의 전력 관리를 수행하기 위한 방법들이 개시된다.
