Abstract | Disclosed are a method and a system for manufacturing an electrode catalyst layer for a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell, and an electrode catalyst layer manufactured thereby. The method for manufacturing an electrode catalyst layer according to a disclosed embodiment is a method for manufacturing an electrode catalyst layer of a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell and includes the steps of: forming catalyst particles on the surface of an electrode support of a fuel cell; and forming an atomic layer protective film on the surface of the electrode support and the catalyst particles through atomic layer deposition.
