Abstract A method and system for processing a computer-generated hologram (CGH) are disclosed. The system for processing a CGH includes a CGH generating device and a display device. The CGH generating device changes, after propagating object data from a first depth layer to a second depth layer, amplitude data of the object data to predetermined second amplitude data, repeatedly performs a process of backpropagating the object data from the second depth layer to the first depth layer and then changing the amplitude data of the object data to predetermined first amplitude data, and generates a CGH by using the object data. CGH를 처리하는 방법 및 시스템이 개시된다. CGH를 처리하는 시스템은 CGH 생성 장치 및 디스플레이 장치를 포함한다. CGH 생성 장치는 제1 깊이 레이어에서 제2 깊이 레이어로 객체 데이터를 전파한 후 미리 결정된 제2 진폭 데이터로 객체 데이터의 진폭 데이터를 변경하고, 제2 깊이 레이어에서 제1 깊이 레이어로 객체 데이터를 역전파한 후 미리 결정된 제1 진폭 데이터로 객체 데이터의 진폭 데이터를 변경하는 프로세스를 반복하여 수행하고, 객체 데이터를 이용하여 CGH를 생성한다.

CGH를 처리하는 방법 및 시스템이 개시된다. CGH를 처리하는 시스템은 CGH 생성 장치 및 디스플레이 장치를 포함한다.
