Abstract | The present application relates to a system for detecting the location of a Vespa velutina nest. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the system comprises: an unmanned aerial vehicle flying in an unmanned manner and shooting aerial images; and a Vespa velutina nest detection device specifying the location of a Vespa velutina nest on the basis of information detected by the unmanned aerial vehicle. The Vespa velutina nest detection device sets a search range of the unmanned aerial vehicle on the basis of location information of a beekeeping facility where Vespa velutina was found and calculates the location of a Vespa velutina nest on the basis of the location information of the unmanned aerial vehicle and a shooting angle of the unmanned aerial vehicle when the Vespa velutina nest is found. Accordingly, the exact location of a Vespa velutina nest is provided to users, thereby minimizing damage caused by Vespa velutina.
