Disclosed is an air purifier capable of removing germs and viruses. The air purifier comprises: a main body including an inlet where air is introduced and an outlet where the air is discharged; a UV irradiation device disposed between the inlet and the outlet and having a UV LED irradiating an ultraviolet ray toward the outlet; a photocatalyst filter including a photocatalyst provided to generate active oxygen by reacting with the ultraviolet ray irradiated from the UV LED, and disposed between the UV irradiation device and the outlet; and a light shielding member disposed between the UV LED and the inlet to prevent the ultraviolet ray irradiated from the UV LED from being discharged to the outside of the main body through the inlet. 세균 및 바이러스를 제거할 수 있는 공기 청정기를 개시한다. 공기 청정기는 공기가 유입되는 흡입구와, 공기가 배출되는 배출구를 포함하는 본체와, 상기 흡입구와 상기 배출구 사이에 배치되고, 상기 배출구를 향해 자외선을 조사하는 UV LED를 포함하는 자외선 조사 장치와, 상기 UV LED에서 조사된 자외선과 반응하여 활성산소를 발생시키도록 마련되는 광촉매를 포함하고, 상기 자외선 조사 장치와 상기 배출구 사이에 배치되는 광촉매 필터 및 상기 UV LED에서 조사된 자외선이 상기 흡입구를 통해 상기 본체 외부로 방출되는 것을 방지하도록 상기 UV LED와 상기 흡입구 사이에 배치되는 차광부재를 포함할 수 있다.
