Summary:The present invention relates to a terminal device for a superconducting cable. The terminal device for a superconducting cable is to connect a superconducting cable, which transmits power at a cryogenic temperature, to a power apparatus of a room temperature state. The terminal device comprises: a refrigerant tank with a vacuum insulation layer in which a distal end of a superconducting cable is accommodated, wherein a liquid refrigerant and a gaseous refrigerant are filled inside the refrigerant tank and the refrigerant tank is prepared to surround the outside; a current lead with one end connected to the distal end of the superconducting cable and the other end passing through the refrigerant tank and the vacuum insulation layer to be connected to a busbar of the power apparatus; and a heat exchanger device filled with a liquid refrigerant to maintain an interface of the liquid refrigerant at a predetermined height and installed in a middle portion of the current lead to cool the current lead, thereby maintaining optimized design of the current lead without respect to the interface of the liquid refrigerant of the refrigerant tank. 본 발명은 초전도 케이블용 단말장치에 관한 것으로, 극저온에서 전력을 전송하는 초전도 케이블을 상온 상태의 전력 기기와 연결하기 위한 초전도 케이블용 단말장치에 있어서, 초전도 케이블의 말단부가 수납되며 내부에 액체 냉매와 기체 냉매가 채워지고 외부를 둘러싸도록 마련되는 진공 단열층이 구비된 냉매조, 일측이 초전도 케이블의 말단부에 연결되며 타측이 냉매조와 진공 단열층을 관통하여 전력 기기의 모선에 연결되는 전류 리드, 액체 냉매의 계면이 일정 높이로 유지되도록 액체 냉매로 채워지며 전류 리드의 중간 부분에 설치되어 전류 리드를 냉각시키는 열교환기를 포함하여 냉매조의 액체 냉매의 계면과 무관하게 전류 리드의 최적화 설계를 유지할 수 있다.
