Abstract The present invention relates to a black ice detecting vehicle comprising: a driving vehicle speed sensor measuring speeds of a front wheel and a rear wheel mounted on the vehicle; an intermediate wheel speed sensor measuring a speed of an intermediate wheel which is installed between the front and rear wheels and rotates in an idle state; a driving analysis unit generating GPS information on a surface of a road when the driving speed is faster than the intermediate wheel speed by comparing the speeds measured at the driving vehicle speed sensor and the intermediate wheel speed sensor; and a GPS transceiver which transmits GPS information generated by the driving analysis unit outward and receives GPS information on surfaces of other roads.
