Summary:According to one embodiment disclosed in the present document, a foldable electronic device comprises: a first housing; a second housing; a hinge structure disposed between the first housing and the second housing; a flexible display; a sensor for sensing a folding angle of the hinge structure; a processor; and a memory. The memory can store instructions which, when executed, causes the processor to: set a first angle range of the folding angle corresponding to an operating mode of the foldable electronic device and a second angle range thereof corresponding to a pre-load state relative to the operating mode; sense a change in the folding angle through the sensor; trigger data related to the operating mode when the folding angle corresponds to the second angle range; and display an execution image of the operating mode on the flexible display by using the data when the folding angle corresponds to the first angle range. Therefore, the foldable electronic device can prevent a screen transition delay occurring in accordance with a folding operation.
