The present invention relates to a ribbon take-up reel driving apparatus for a dye sublimation printer and, more specifically, to a ribbon take-up reel driving apparatus for a dye sublimation printer, capable of organically controlling the ascent of a pickup roller, the ascent of a flatten roller and the driving of a take-up reel gear in accordance with the forward/backward movement of a slide plate. In accordance with the present invention, the ribbon take-up reel driving apparatus, which is a ribbon take-up reel driving apparatus for a dye sublimation printer selectively driving a take-up reel gear combined with a winding reel for winding a ribbon, includes: a feed gear combined with a feed roller rotated bidirectionally; a swing lever combined with a shaft of the feed roller to be rotated bidirectionally, and having a swing control groove formed horizontally; a swing gear combined with the swing lever to be regularly geared to the feed gear, and selectively geared to or ungeared from the take-up reel gear in accordance with a rotating direction of the swing lever; and a gearing keeping member connecting a flatten roller provided to be liftable in a lower part of a head, with the shaft of the feed roller. 본 발명은 염료 승화형 프린터의 리본 테이크업 릴 구동장치에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 슬라이드 플레이트의 진퇴에 따라 픽업롤러의 승강과, 플래튼롤러의 승강 및 테이크업 릴기어의 구동을 유기적으로 제어할 수 있는 염료 승화형 프린터의 리본 테이크업 릴 구동장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의한 리본 테이크업릴 구동장치는 리본을 권취하는 권취릴에 결합된 테이크업릴 기어를 선택적으로 구동하는 염료 승화형 프린터의 리본 테이크업 릴 구동장치에 있어서, 양방향으로 회전하는 피드 롤러에 결합되는 피드기어; 상기 피드 롤러의 축에 결합되어 양방향으로 회전하고, 수평으로 형성된 스윙제어홈이 구비되는 스윙레버; 상기 스윙레버에 결합되어 상기 피드 기어와 상시 치합(齒合)하며, 상기 스윙레버의 회전방향에 따라 선택적으로 상기 테이크업릴 기어와 치합하거나 비치합(非齒合)하는 스윙기어; 및 헤드의 하부에서 승강 가능하게 구비되는 플래튼 롤러와 상기 피드 롤러의 축을 연결하는 치합유지부재;를 포함한다.
