Abstract | The present invention relates to a device and a method for measuring crop growth information using a crop inducing line made of optical fibers. The present invention provides the device and method for measuring crop growth information, wherein the device comprises: an optical fiber wound on a crop stem to be installed; a photographing unit photographing an image of the optical fiber; and an analysis unit analyzing the image photographed by the photographing unit. The analysis unit measures the length of a crop based on lengths of visible and invisible parts of the optical fiber in the image photographed by the photographing unit.
