Abstract An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a processor obtaining upscaling information of an input image by using a first artificial intelligence model trained to obtain the upscaling information of the image, downscaling the input image based on the obtained upscaling information, and upscaling the downscaled image based on an output resolution to obtain an output image.
