The present invention provides a display device which can improve contrast by local dimming. The display device comprises: a light source array in which a plurality of light sources emitting light in a local dimming manner are arranged; a color conversion layer including color conversion particles which convert the light into light of a specific color, and emitting white light using the light; a display panel generating an image using the white light; and a selective transmission member disposed between the light source array and the color conversion layer, transmitting the light toward the color conversion layer, and not transmitting the light converted by the color conversion layer toward the light source array. 디스플레이 장치를 제공한다. 본 디스플레이 장치는, 로컬 디밍 방식으로 광을 방출하는 복수 개의 광원이 배열된 광원 어레이, 광을 특정 컬러의 광으로 변환시키는 색 변환 입자들을 포함하고, 광을 이용하여 백색광을 방출하는 색 변환층, 백색광을 이용하여 영상을 생성하는 디스플레이 패널 및 광원 어레이와 색 변환층 사이에 배치되며, 상기 광을 색 변환층 쪽으로 투과시키고, 상기 색 변환층에서 변환된 광은 광원 어레이쪽으로 투과시키지 않는 선택적 투과 부재를 포함한다.
