Abstract The present invention relates to an eco-friendly street tree protection system comprising: boundary stones around a street tree, which are formed in all directions around a tree nest; storage pipes disposed at four corners of the boundary stones around the street tree, and permeable blocks formed on the storage pipes. The eco-friendly street tree protection system according to the present invention embeds the permeable blocks and the storage pipes based on foamed glass beads in the lower part of the street tree to store water during rain, so that water supply, nutrients and oxygen are smoothly supplied to the street tree during a dry season, thereby promoting the safe growth of the street tree by suppressing the protrusion of a tree root on a sidewalk. 본 발명은 가로수 둥지를 중심으로 사방에 형성된 가로수 주변 경계석, 상기 가로수 주변 경계석의 사방 모서리에 배치된 저류관, 및 상기 저류관 위에 형성된 투수 블록으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 친환경 가로수 보호 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 친환경 가로수 보호 시스템은 가로수 하부에 발포유리비드를 기반으로 한 투수 불록과 저류관을 매립하여 우수 시 물을 저장하여 갈수기에 가로수에 수분공급과 영양분 및 산소공급이 원활히 이루어져 수목의 목근이 보도 위로 돌출되는 현상을 억제해 가로수의 안전한 성장을 도모하는 효과를 가진다.
