Abstract | The present invention relates to a control system for a cooling fan motor, capable of improving an operable range of a motor by preventing damage to an apparatus and a component installed in an engine room in spite of a temperature rise in the engine room, and a method thereof. The control system includes: a cooling fan installed in an engine room; a motor having a rotary shaft connected to the cooling fan; an inverter electrically connected with the motor to apply power to the motor; at least one temperature sensor installed in the engine room to sense temperature; and a control part operating the motor by controlling the inverter, while operating the motor with output which is no less than a predetermined reference value, if the temperature of the inside of the engine room sensed by the temperature sensor exceeds a first reference temperature.
본 발명은 엔진룸 내부의 온도가 높아지더라도 엔진룸 내부에 설치된 장치와 부품의 파손을 방지하여 모터의 동작가능범위를 향상시킬 수 있는 쿨링팬 모터의 제어 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 엔진룸 내부에 설치되는 쿨링팬, 회전축이 상기 쿨링팬에 연결되는 모터, 상기 모터와 전기적으로 연결되어 상기 모터에 전원을 인가하는 인버터, 상기 엔진룸 내부에 설치되어 온도를 센싱하는 적어도 하나 이상의 온도 센서 및 상기 인버터를 제어해 상기 모터를 동작시키되, 상기 온도 센서에서 센싱된 상기 엔진룸 내부의 온도가 제1기준온도를 초과할 경우, 상기 모터를 일정 기준치 이상의 출력으로 동작시키는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. |
