The present invention relates to an apparatus of manufacturing an electrode assembly, which includes a plurality of basic units stacked in a vertical direction at odd-numbered times, and a supply unit having a magazine in which basic units stacked at even-numbered times are stacked to be crossed at a predetermined angle, wherein the magazine may include: a first stacking part in which the basic units stacked at odd-numbered times are stacked, and electrode tabs of elementary units stacked at odd-numbers are stacked in a first direction; and a second stacking part in which the basic units stacked at even-numbered times are stacked, and electrode tabs of the elementary units stacked at even-numbered times are stacked in a second direction. An object of the present invention is to provide the apparatus and a method of manufacturing an electrode assembly, capable of individually drawing out basic units stacked in the magazine, thereby preventing stacking defects. 본 발명은 전극조립체 제조장치로서, 복수개의 기본단위체가 상하방향으로 적층되되, 홀수번에 적층되는 기본단위체와 짝수번에 적층되는 기본단위체가 소정의 각도로 교차되게 적층되는 매거진을 구비한 공급유닛을 포함하며, 상기 매거진은, 홀수번에 적층되는 상기 기본단위체가 적층되되, 홀수번에 적층되는 상기 기본단위체의 전극탭이 제1 방향을 향하게 적층되는 제1 적층부; 및 짝수번에 적층되는 상기 기본단위체가 적층되되, 짝수번에 적층되는 상기 기본단위체의 전극탭이 제2 방향을 향하게 적층되는 제2 적층부를 포함한다.
