The present invention relates to an apparatus for washing food materials, in which food materials, such as meat, vegetables, and fruits, having a specific gravity capable of sinking the same in water are input, the food material are cleanly washed by using high-pressure water stream, air bubbles, high-temperature steam, and the like while automatically transferring the same in water when received so that the washed food materials are discharged and, in particular, in the case of meat, the apparatus discharges the meat after removing even blood. According to the present invention, an input hopper (21) is formed at the front upper end of a water tank (20) maintaining watertightness for the inside, an outlet (22) is formed at the lower rear end of the water tank (20) to be inclined upwardly toward the rear side, first, second, and third transfer conveyors (30a, 30b, 30c) are installed inside the water tank (20), and a discharge conveyor (40) is installed at the outlet (22) of the water tank (20). Accordingly, the apparatus can wash foreign substances by using high-pressure water, air bubbles, high-temperature steam, and the like while transporting food materials in water to discharge the washed food materials, thereby increasing efficiency of washing work without inputting a large amount of manpower. Particularly, in the case of meat such as ribs, backbones, and the like, the apparatus removes even blood while removing foreign substances, thereby providing an effect of quickly performing a pretreatment process for processing or cooking. 본 발명은 물에 가라앉을 수 있는 비중을 가지는 육류 및 야채, 과실 등과 같은 식재료를 투입하면 자동으로 식재료를 수중·이송시키면서 고압의 물줄기 및 공기방울(Air bubble)과 고온의 증기(steam) 등을 이용해서 깨끗하게 세척하여 배출시켜 줄 수 있도록 한 것이며, 특히 육류의 경우에는 핏물까지 제거하여 배출시켜 줄 수 있도록 발명한 식재료 세척장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 내부의 수밀(水密)을 유지하는 수조(20)의 선단 상부에 투입호퍼(21)를 형성하고 수조(20)의 후단 하부에 후방으로 상향 경사를 이루는 배출구(22)를 형성하며, 상기 수조(20) 내부에 제1,2,3 이송컨베이어(30a,30b,30c)를 설치하고, 상기 수조(20)의 배출구(22)에 배출컨베이어(40)를 설치하여 구성한 것이다. 본 발명은 식재료를 수중·이송시키면서 고압의 물줄기 및 기포(Air bubble)와 고온의 증기(steam) 등을 이용해서 이물질을 깨끗하게 세척하여 배출시켜 줄 수 있도록 함으로써 많은 인력을 투입하지 않으면서 세척작업의 효율을 향상시켜 줄 수 있으며, 특히, 갈비 및 등뼈 등과 같은 육류 식재료의 경우에는 이물질의 제거와 함께 핏물의 제거작업까지 실시하여 가공 또는 조리의 전처리 공정을 신속하게 진행하여 줄 수 있는 등의 효과가 있다.
