Summary:The present invention relates to a diffuser and a manufacturing method thereof. Provided are the diffuser wherein light emitted through the diffuser forms an asymmetrical light output pattern, and the manufacturing method thereof. According to an aspect, the diffuser is the diffuser which diffuses a laser beam incident from a laser light source to form an asymmetrical light output pattern. The diffuser includes a base portion and a micro lens array disposed on the base portion. The micro lens array includes a plurality of micro lenses including a bottom surface having a different horizontal length and a vertical length and a curved surface disposed on the bottom surface. 본 발명은 디퓨져 및 이의 제조 방법에 관한 것으로, 디퓨져를 통해 방출되는 광이 비대칭형 출광 패턴을 형성하는 디퓨져 및 이의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 실시 형태에 따른 디퓨져는, 레이저 광원으로부터 입사되는 레이저 빔을 확산하여 비대칭형 출광 패턴을 형성하는 디퓨져로서, 베이스부와 상기 베이스부 상에 배치된 마이크로 렌즈 어레이를 포함하고, 상기 마이크로 렌즈 어레이는, 가로 길이와 세로 길이가 서로 다른 밑면과 상기 밑면 상에 배치된 곡면을 포함하는 마이크로 렌즈를 복수로 갖는다.
