Summary:An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display; an actuator configured to output at least one of a sound and a vibration by using the display; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to identify whether the display is activated, identify the temperature of the electronic device if the display is activated, and control the actuator to generate at least one of the sound and the vibration at a designated frequency if the temperature is lower than a designated temperature. According to the present invention, when using a screen sound actuator, it is possible to control the screen sound actuator so that there is no inconvenience in using functions such as calls regardless of the external temperature. 다양한 실시 예에 따른 전자 장치는, 디스플레이, 상기 디스플레이를 이용하여 소리와 진동 중 적어도 하나를 출력하도록 설정된 액추에이터, 및 프로세서를 포함하고, 상기 프로세서는, 상기 디스플레이의 활성화 여부를 확인하고, 상기 디스플레이가 활성화되면, 상기 전자 장치의 온도를 확인하고, 상기 온도가 지정된 온도보다 낮으면, 지정된 주파수의 소리와 진동 중 적어도 하나가 발생되도록 상기 액추에이터를 제어하도록 설정될 수 있다.
