Abstract The present invention relates to an input device capable of controlling the movement of a pointer object to correspond to a touch direction of a user even when the input device moves and an electronic device interacting with the input device. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the electronic device comprises: a touch pad exposed through the first surface of an input device; a sensor circuit configured to detect the movement of the input device; a communication circuit configured to communicate with an external device; and a processor. The processor is configured to guide to determine a first direction when detecting that the movement of the input device meets a specified condition by using the sensor circuit, determine touch coordinate information corresponding to the touch input based on an angle between a reference direction on the touch pad and the first direction when detecting the touch input on the touch pad by using the touch pad, and transmit the touch coordinate information to an external device through the communication circuit.
