Abstract The present invention relates to a system and a method for applying the same light source effect to a newly synthesized image by finding a light source in an image. The method includes the following steps of: receiving an image; recognizing and tracking an object included in the received image based on an image recognition algorithm; extracting a light source direction from the received image; verifying whether the extracted light source direction is matched with a light source direction of the received image by repetitively exposing the extracted light source direction through a three-dimensional model simulator; synthesizing a new object with the received image; and editing the image by applying the extracted light source effect. Therefore, the present invention is capable of minimizing manual work by providing technology for automatically applying the same shadows and reflection light to a synthesized image. 본 발명은 영상 속 광원을 찾아 새롭게 합성된 영상에 동일한 광원효과를 주는 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 영상을 수신하고, 영상 인식 알고리즘을 기반으로 수신된 영상에 포함된 오브젝트를 인식하고 추적하고, 상기 수신된 영상에서 광원 방향을 추출하고, 3차원 모델 시뮬레이터를 통해서 상기 추출된 광원 방향을 반복 노출시켜서 상기 수신된 영상의 광원 방향과 일치하는지 검증하고, 상기 수신된 영상에 새로운 오브젝트를 합성하고, 상기 추출된 광원효과를 적용하여 영상을 편집한다.
