Provided are an operating device of a pop-up store to determine a product to be handled in consideration of demand for a product of online and offline users and determining a movement path in consideration of an expected rate of visits by users, and a control method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the operating device of a pop-up store comprises: a communication unit communicating with at least one user terminal device and a vehicle of a pop-up store; and a control unit controlling the communication unit to receive information on a product of interest from each of the at least one user terminal device, determining at least one among the products of interest based on sales by product offline, determining at least one product having a high purchase relationship with the determined product as a recommended product, and controlling the communication unit to transmit information on the determined product and the recommended product to the vehicle of the pop-up store. 온라인 및 오프라인에서의 사용자들의 물품에 대한 수요를 고려하여 취급 물품을 결정하고, 사용자들의 방문 예상율을 고려하여 이동 경로를 결정하는 팝업 스토어 운영 장치 및 그 제어방법을 제공한다. 일 실시예에 따른 팝업 스토어 운영 장치는, 적어도 하나의 사용자 단말장치 및 팝업 스토어 차량과 통신을 수행하는 통신부; 및 상기 적어도 하나의 사용자 단말장치 각각으로부터 관심 물품에 대한 정보를 수신하도록 상기 통신부를 제어하고, 물품 별 오프라인 상에서의 구매율에 기초하여 상기 관심 물품 중 적어도 하나의 물품을 결정하고, 물품 간 구매 관련도에 기초하여 상기 결정된 적어도 하나의 물품과 구매 관련도가 높은 적어도 하나의 물품을 추천 물품으로 결정하고, 상기 팝업 스토어 차량에 상기 결정된 적어도 하나의 물품 및 상기 추천 물품에 대한 정보를 송신하도록 상기 통신부를 제어하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
