A method for executing a function of an electronic device of the present disclosure comprises the following operations of: displaying a virtual clock UI showing virtual time and an icon list UI including icons corresponding to each of a plurality of functions; acquiring first input data according to a user input for selecting a time by using the displayed virtual clock UI and second input data according to a user input for selecting an icon from the icon list UI; controlling a function corresponding to the selected icon to be executed at the selected time based on the first input data and the second input data; and highlighting the selected icon as the virtual time reaches the time, and executing a function corresponding to the selected icon as a current time reaches the time.
