Abstract The present invention relates to an adhesive composition for a protective film of an acrylic base material, and a protective film for an acrylic base material. In particular, the adhesive composition comprises: (meth)acrylic copolymer comprising 0.1 to 9 mass% of a constitutive unit derived from 4-hydroxybutylacrylate, with respect to the total constitutive units, and 50 mass% or more of a constitutive unit derived from a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer with respect to the total constitutive units; a tri- or more-functional isocyanate-based crosslinker; an organopolysiloxane having an oxyalkylene chain; and an ionic compound.
